Dr. Mark Tyburski, MD.

Dr. Mark Tyburski attended Indiana University where he obtained his bachelors in physical rehabilitation.  He subsequently worked as the departmental director for subacute services and all aquatic therapy services at Winona Memorial Hospital.

He received his M.D. from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.  Upon graduating he worked as a Jr. Pediatric orthopedic surgeon under the supervision of Pan Dr. Darek Kotulski.  Upon returning to the United States he taught various medical classes for nursing students at a local community college.  

Dr. Tyburski recently returned from Honduras where he worked as a national director for an American NGO located in Intibuca.  His responsibilities included: national director of pharmacy/laboratory services, family medicine and O.B. duties, Honduran director for the Children's health initiative, he also assisted in the development of a new coding system and interactive medical surveillance system.  During his tenure the organization expanded from 2 clinics to 13 health centers and 2 emergency centers providing free medical services for over 50,000 residents.

Dr. Tyburski is now a part of CMU faculty team as an assistant professor of Anatomy and Pathology. His academic qualification in basic sciences, constitutes a great asset for medical students.
